2023 General Elections: I'm Not For Anyone, President Buhari Declares

President Muhammadu Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday urged politicians interested in vying for elective positions in the 2023 general elections to work hard because he would not give room for electoral malpractice.

The president stated this while receiving top government officials at his official residence in the Presidential Villa, Abuja, to commemorate his 77th birthday.

Buhari used the avenue to warn those who are planning to use their offices or security agencies to subvert the will of the people to have a rethink.

He insisted that he would not allow the machinery of election malpractice to have their way in the 2023 general elections in Nigeria.

He also insisted that he will not favour any politician to compromise the electoral process in 2023, vowing to give Nigerians a free, fair and credible election.
