DSS Rearrests Sowore on Fresh Charges

The Department of State Services (DSS) has rearrested the pro-democracy activist, Omoyele Sowore on fresh charges, less than 24 hours after the service released him on bail.

Earlier, the service stormed the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja where the embattled activist was, for a fundamental rights enforcement hearing in his ongoing trial.

He is currently detained at the DSS office in Abuja. However, the DSS is yet to officially disclose the reason for the re-arrest.
