Lautech Inducts Nurses, Assures Normalcy

 The Vice-Chancellor of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Prof. M.O Ologunde has assured that the institution has returned to normalcy, noting that the crisis facing the institution is under control.

     Ologunde stated this while speaking at the 9th induction ceremony of the newly qualified medical nurses of the university, held on December 5, 2019. It was held in the 750 seater lecture theatre of the College of Health Science, in Oshogbo, Osun State.

The VC said 8 new programmes have been added to the existing ones and students who applied for the course have been admitted for the 2019/2020 academic session.

    He also disclosed that the university has commenced a Joint University Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB) which is designed to prepare candidates to gain direct entry into 200 level.

 He commended the state government for their supports and cooperation that enables the institution a pacesetter among the community of universities in Nigeria.

    Ologunde also commended the support of the governing council, led by Prof Oladapo Afolabi for its commitment to the progress of the university.
 
    He finally added that, through the cooperation and support of the various stakeholders, the institution had been able to achieve its core objectives of providing qualitative education for the development of human power and resources in the country and the world at large.
