Canada Blames Iran for the Death of 63 Canadians on Board Boeing 737

Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau

The Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau says evidence indicates that Iranian missile crashed the Ukrainian airliner carrying 176 passengers on Wednesday.

Recall that the plane, Boeing 737 crashed two minutes after take-off from Imam Khomeini International Airport in Tehran, Iran. The crash was reportedly caused by a mechanical fault.

However, some experts in the US including the US President, Donald Trump, and Canadian Prime Minister believe that something more terrible than that happened.

“We have intelligence from multiple sources, including our allies and our own intelligence. The evidence indicates that the plane was shot down by an Iranian surface-to-air missile,” Canadian Prime Minister told reporters in Ottawa, Canada. “This may well have been unintentional,” according to Al Jazeera.

Recall that Iran threatened to avenge the death of its general who was killed by US airstrike on January 3rd, 2020. The country has since launched a series of missiles targeting US military bases, especially in Iraq. Hence the suspicion that the Iranian government has a hand in the death of the 176 people on board the Ukrainian airliner which includes 63 Canadians.

However, the Iranian authorities have continuously insisted that the government has no hand in the plane crash.
