2023: Let's dedicate ourselves to the service of God and humanity - OSPOLY Ag.Rector, Odetayo, charges Polytechnic Community



 The Acting Rector, Osun State Polytechnic Iree, Dr Tajudeen Adewale Odetayo, has said that the Year 2023 shall be a year of dedication to the services of God and humanity in the Institution just as he said that the Management of the Institution shall remain loyal to the State Governor, Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke, in his bid to transform the State.


This is contained in a statement signed by the Registrar of the Institution, Mr Busari Salawu on behalf of the Institution's management.  The statement reads in part, " the Year 2023 shall be a year of re-dedication in our services to humanity".


The polytechnic management under the leadership of its Acting Rector, Dr. Tajudeen Odetayo has mapped out strategies to improve on the discharge of duties of members of staff and academic rejuvenations to maintain the Institution's standard among the comity of polytechnics in Nigeria.


He maintained that moral rehabilitation,  waging war on immoral dressings among students and sustenance of improved vocational training, remain the focus of the management in its dedication to quality service delivery in the Institution.


He reiterated the unalloyed support and loyalty of the management team to the State Governor, Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke, in his bid to re-activate the educational sector in the state.


According to the release, " we have dedicated ourselves to joining hands with the State Governor in his transformation of the educational sector in the state at all levels. It is a year of re-dedication to standard and re-awakening of socio-economic and educational status of the state, which the Governor had commenced, " the statement said.


The Registrar, also called on students and staff of the institution to remain peaceful so as to ensure a hitch free Academic Calendar during the 2022/2023 Academic Session. 


He also disclosed that Academic activities for the 2022/2023 Session put on hold for the Christmas and New Year festivities would resume on Tuesday 3rd January, 2023, calling on the staff and students to resume promptly.
